A gamer in Europe recently got the deal of the decade when they went ahead and purchased a Razer Blade 18. They initially ordered the SKU with an NVIDIA RTX 5080 laptop GPU for β¬2,433 (~RM11,400), but got a model with the RTX 5090.
The gamer, who goes by the handle iiT2 on Reddit, posted their fortuitous luck on the social network: they originally ordered a Blade 18 with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX CPU, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. They received their laptop, but again, instead of the RTX 5080, they got one with an RTX 5090, plus 64GB DDR5-6400 RAM, and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.
As a quick primer, the current iteration of the Blade 18 ships in three GPU configurations: an RTX 5070 Ti, an RTX 5080, and an RTX 5090. Across all three models, Razer offers customers a laptop with up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, plus additional M.2 storage slots for expansion.
Other specs of the laptop include a dual-mode display, with the main resolution being a 4K240Hz and the secondary resolution set at FHD at 440Hz. As its name suggests, itβs an 18-inch panel, which is Calman Verified and has a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

iiT2 explains in their post that the laptop’s serial number matches the invoice for their original purchase, so itβs likely the laptop was mislabeled by the vendor. In other words, it likely isnβt a case of iiT2 getting another customerβs Blade 18 order, but rather a bit of a hiccup on the sellerβs part.
Whatever the case, weβre just going to quote one of the Redditor who viewed the post: Why cant stuff like this ever happen to me in life? Even once?
