Lenovo has announced some new additions to its gaming lineup. Aimed at gamers at all levels, these products comprise two laptops and a desktop from its budget-focused LOQ range, as well as two Legion monitors.
LOQ Essential Laptops
The first of the two laptops, the LOQ Essential 15IPH11, promises accessible gaming performance. Designed for students who want a machine for both work and play, it features a 10% lighter and slimmer chassis compared to its predecessor, allowing it to fit into a backpack better. Furthermore, it sports a 15.3-inch WUXGA IPS LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 165Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB colour coverage.
Internally, the laptop packs an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H CPU with built-in Intel Arc graphics. Meanwhile, memory goes up to 16GB 9600MT/s LPDDR5x. For storage, users can get up to 1TB of M.2 2242 PCIe SSD (Gen4). Furthermore, a 60Wh battery can keep the laptop powered for up to 21 hours. As for ports, it comes with three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, one RJ45 LAN port, and one HDMI 2.1 port.
On the other hand, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 serves as the more capable counterpart. While it features the same display as the 15IPH11, this model can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 230H processor. As for the GPU, customers can choose up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.
Other than that, you can get up to 32GB of 5200MT/s DDR5 memory, as well as up to 1TB of M.2 2242 PCIe SSD (Gen4) storage. Beyond that, the laptop comes with the same 60Wh battery and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C port, one RJ45 LAN port, and one HDMI 2.1 port.
LOQ Tower 17IRH11
Conceived as a ready-to-play system with the potential for future upgrades, the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 is a 17-litre tower built on an Intel RPL-H GT0 motherboard. Available in Raven Black and Luna Grey, it sports a concealed air-duct design, promising quieter cooling.
Internally, it can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 230H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060Ti Desktop GPU. For memory, you can get a maximum of 32GB 5600MT/s DDR5, while storage goes up to 1TB. In terms of connectivity, it supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Legion Monitors
Completing the lineup are the Legion 27Q-20 and 27U-20 Monitors. Both displays feature 27-inch IPS panels, but with a few distinctions. The former offers a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, a native 320Hz refresh rate, as well as a 1ms GtG response time. On the other hand, the latter features a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution, as well as a 180Hz refresh rate.
Both monitors cover 99% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces. Other shared features include VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, 400 nits of brightness, as well as support for 1.07 billion colours. They also come with AI-driven features via Legion Space, including AI Crosshair and Game Companion.
Availability And Pricing
For now, the Malaysian arm of the brand has not revealed the pricing for these products. Instead, it says that it will announce the availability at a later date. That said, at the time of writing, the local website has already listed the Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IRH11. As stated on the page, pricing starts at RM5,069.01.
