The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is now official, along with the rest of the devices launched under the Pixel 11 family. The phone serves as a direct replacement for last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold and even features some familar, if not similar specifications.
Starting with what’s beneath the hood, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by the search engine’s latest Tensor G6 SoC, which is based on the 2nm process node. In total, the chipset sports a 7-core setup, running in a 1+4+2 setup. Additionally, it also runs in tandem with a Titan M3 security coprocessor for advanced mobile security.
Moving on, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold also houses 16GB RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage. For the Malaysian market, we will be getting access to both the 256GB and 512GB variants. Additionally, the foldable is powered by a 4,750mAh battery that Google promises will give users north of 24 hours of general usage. It also supports 30W USB-C charging and wireless Qi 2.2 charging up to 25W.
As for the displays, the cover display of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold measures 6.5-inches and is a Super Actua OLED panel with 1,080 x 2,342 resolution and a pixel density of 399 PPI.
Unfolded, the main display measures 8-inches and is also an OLED panel, with a maximum resolution of 2,076 x 2,152 pixels and pixel density of 372 PPI. Regardless, both the cover and and internal display have a peak brightness of 3,600 nits and variable refresh rate of 120Hz. Oh, and they both support HDR and 24-bit colour.
For the main camera, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses a triple-camera system comprising a 48MP Wide, a 10.5MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. Regardless of sensor, all three support the Super Zoom function at up to 30x. For the selfie cameras on both the cover and main display, those shooters are 10MP sensors.
Preorders for the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold begin today, with the foldable set to become available at all authorised resellers and retail outlets starting 20 August. Pricing for the new phone starts at RM7,999.
