Marshall Acton IV And Stanmore IV To Officially Arrive In Malaysia On 20 August 2026

Marshall has announced two new additions to its range of Bluetooth home speakers for the Malaysian market. The Acton IV and Stanmore IV serve as the successors to the Acton III and Stanmore III, which officially debuted globally back in 2022. According to the brand, the new speakers pack enhanced sound and powerful performance into a refreshed yet familiar build.

Both devices retain the distinctive amp-like look, but the brass control panel has been updated with an improved media jog and signature power switch. The customisable M-button is also on board, allowing for quick access to music or other functions. Other than that, the company has added RCA and AUX inputs. Speaking of which, the ports have been shifted to the underside, so the devices can be placed flush against a wall. Furthermore, parts like the knobs, feet, and grille are replaceable, so users can easily repair the speakers.

As with their predecessors, the Acton IV and Stanmore IV differ in terms of size. The former measures at 260 x 170 x 150 mm and weighs 2.65kg. On the other hand, the latter is the larger variant, measuring at 350 x 203 x 185 mm and weighing a heftier 4kg.

On the audio side of things, the stereo speakers come equipped with two 0.75-inch 25W Class D tweeters. These get paired with a 60W Class D woofer, though the size differs based on the model. The smaller Acton IV gets a 4-inch unit, while its beefier sibling gets a slightly bigger 5-incher. According to the company, the improved tweeters and waveguides disperse sound more evenly across a wider area for a more expansive soundstage. Meanwhile, the bass port has been redesigned to improve airflow, leading to cleaner and more powerful bass.

The audio improvements aren’t just on the hardware level, as the company has brought its Adaptive Loudness feature to the new devices. Additionally, Auracast support allows users to link multiple speakers together.

Both the Marshall Acton IV and Stanmore IV come in Black and Cream finishes. On the subject of pricing, the Acton IV will retail for RM1,699, while the Stanmore IV will cost RM2,399. The duo will be available from 20 August 2026 via the brand’s official Shopee store and selected retail partners, including Harvey Norman, Thunder Match, CG Computers, Switch, and Urban Republic.

Shopee customers can also enjoy an SPayLater promotion, though this offer will only run until 4 September. Finally, the products will be available on Lazada on 4 September 2026, while the remaining retailers will offer the speakers starting 1 October 2026.
