The vivo V70 FE has been in the SIRIM database for the longest time. It’s even been launched earlier last month in neighbouring Indonesia. Even the launch of the base model V70 has come and gone, with no sign of the FE. But now, the company has finally revealed when it’s officially introducing the FE into the local market.
As posted on its official Facebook page, the vivo V70 FE will be launching in Malaysia on 9 April 2026. The teaser doesn’t reveal much else about the phone, but it does show it off in a pretty Ocean Blue colourway.

That being said, following the launch in the neighbouring market, there’s not much that’s still left as a surprise. Unless crossing the border brings major spec changes, we’ll likely still get the phone with a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display. The chipset running operations will likely be a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo, and powering it will be a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 90W charging.
The highlight for the vivo V70 FE will likely be its 200MP main camera, and it is paired with an 8MP wide-angle unit. In front, it will pack a 32MP secondary shooter. Then on the software side of things, it will get Android 16 with the new-ish OriginOS 6 overlay. The company also already promised four Android version upgrades and six years of security patches. And those are unlikely to get rescinded.

All that’s left, really, are the available memory and storage configurations, as well as their prices. But with the launch being a week away, it’s not that long a wait before we find out.
