KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 — There are no issues with Sarawakians registering with the central data hub, better known as Padu.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the only technicality involved its implementation via the state government machinery.
“That will be discussed today (between the Economy Ministry’s secretary-general and the Sarawak state secretary) and finalised.
“I don’t see this as affecting registrations with Padu, because as of Friday, statistics show that more than 33 per cent of Malaysians have registered.
“We anticipate that by the end of this month, we hope to be able to hit 50 per cent. So perhaps, we will get an update during the Cabinet meeting on Friday,” Fahmi told a press conference at the Parliament building here today.
