Xpeng has recently revealed its next-generation P7. This sedan coupé EV is set to replace the company’s current flagship, the P7i. The official images were released by the model’s lead exterior designer, Rafik Ferrag, on his social media platforms.

At first glance, people might notice some shades of design from the Polestar 5, especially with the fastback-like roofline that tapers to the rear. At the front, it features full-width LED lights, while glossy black housings that extend to the base of the A-pillars house the headlights. Meanwhile, full-width LED lights can be found at the rear as well.

Other design elements include the flush door handles, X-shaped sporty wheels, and a panoramic roof that blends seamlessly with the rear window. The automaker did not reveal any images of the interior of the car, but it was stated that it is a 5-seater sedan that will feature XPENG Turing Smart Driving and an immersive smart cockpit.

As for the powertrain, the automaker is once again tight-lipped. Nevertheless, we can expect the new flagship P7 to be better in specs and range compared to its predecessor.

According to the automaker, the Xpeng P7 is expected to make its debut in China between July and August this year for a price of around CNY300,000 (~RM177,870). Moreover, the EV is also confirmed for global markets, but  availability will be decided by the company based on demands from various markets.
