Xiaomi Launches OpenWear Stereo Pro Earbuds In China

At its Human x Car x Home launch event in Beijing, China, Xiaomi introduced a total of 13 products, and among them is the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds. As you can guess from the name, the OpenWear Stereo Pro is the brand’s newest set of earbuds with an open-ear design.
The earbuds come with a five-driver system, which includes a custom 18×13mm loudspeaker, which the company claims significantly improves sound quality. The buds also feature an independent active sound leakage reduction system, preventing audio escape beyond 25cm. Additionally, the device has been tested to withstand more than 5,000 bends. It also gets an IP54 rating for splash resistance.
What makes the OpenWear Stereo Pro stand out from its predecessor is the master tuning by the Harman Golden Ear Team, which the regular OpenWear Stereo lacks. Users can choose between two different sound profiles based on their listening preferences. The earbuds also have a built-in recording feature and AI-powered translation and transcription.
As for battery life, the buds offer up to 8.5 hours of listening time on a single charge, according to Xiaomi. Additionally, the charging case extends the runtime to a maximum of 45 hours.
The Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro is available in Golden, Black, and Silver colour options and is priced at CNY999 (~RM588). Unfortunately, as of right now there is no word on a global release, as with most of the products unveiled at the event.
