Xiaomi Confirms Mix Flip 2 Specs Ahead Of Launch

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is set to be unveiled this week in China, and ahead of its official launch, the company has shared some details about the successor of the Mix Flip. In a series of posts on Weibo, Xiaomi revealed some of the device’s specifications as well as its design and colours.
Visually, the clamshell foldable largely resembles its predecessor and comes in four colour options, which include green, purple, and gold. According to the brand, the phone will feature a curved screen and a new hinge structure. Moreover, it will reportedly measure 7.57mm and weigh 199g. The phone will feature a 4.01-inch external screen, while the internal display will measure 6.86 inches.
As for internals, Xiaomi has confirmed that the compact phone will indeed be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Additionally, it will feature a 5,165mAh battery, which is an increase from the Mix Flip’s 4,780mAh capacity.
On the imaging side, the Mix Flip 2 will get two Leica cameras, with f/1.7 to f/2.2 aperture and focal length range equivalent to 14-23mm. This does confirm that the smartphone will be equipped with an ultra-wide angle camera, as opposed to a telephoto lens, which is featured on the Mix Flip.

Xiaomi will launch the new foldable on 26 June 2025 alongside a slew of other products, and we can expect to learn more about the phone when it is announced. As of right now, though, there is no confirmation on when it will release globally.
