The German tuner Brabus has unveiled yet another creation of theirs, which is named the Brabus 1000. This is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance.

The Brabus comes with bespoke exposed-structure carbon fibre components in its bodywork. In terms of design, the Brabus 1000 has a much more aggressive stance compared to the AMG GT, starting with the blacked-out grille with red accents, a carbon fibre front spoiler, sharp aerodynamic lines, and the Brabus “B” badge replacing the traditional Mercedes emblem.

At the rear, the same treatment is given by adding a diffuser and two large, black-chromed exhaust pipes. Slim, darkened LED taillights stretch across the rear, and to finish it off, it has a huge spoiler. Completing the exterior is the

The interior is covered with black leather, and the seats and door panels feature the iconic BRABUS “Shell” pattern. Furthermore, it comes with a bigger infotainment screen and a digital screen for the instrument cluster. Additionally, the interior is covered with carbon fibre, starting with the custom pedal pads, centre console, dashboard trim, and door handles.

Now coming to the powertrain, which is a plug-in hybrid that features a V8 twin-turbo. However, the engine has been modified to a 4.5-litre compared to the four-litre. This was done by increasing the cylinder bore to 84mm and a new forged piston and bespoke billet-aluminium crankshaft that has been lengthened to a 100mm stroke.

With all of this, the engine churns out 796PS of power and 1,250Nm of torque, which has been electronically reduced to 1,050Nm. All of this power is managed by a 9-speed MCT transmission. This is paired with a motor that has its own two-transmission system which produces 150kW (204PS). Together, the Brabus 1000 produces 1000PS and 1,820Nm of torque.

The supercar is claimed to complete the century sprint in 2.6 seconds and reach 200km/h in just 9.5 seconds. Furthermore, it can reach up to 300km/h in 23.6 seconds. Its top speed is not revealed by the automaker, but the company has limited it to 320km/h electronically.
