Reebok has launched its first fitness-focused wearable, the Reebok Smart Ring. Made in collaboration with F45 Training, the device is made from titanium and is equipped with various sensors to help keep track of all of the user’s metrics.
What makes this wearable unique, though, is that it combines all of these different metrics into a single figure, known as the “One Score”. This feature can be viewed through the Reebok Fitness App and makes it easier for users to determine what aspects of their lifestyle need improvement. As for the actual metrics, the ring is capable of recording a person’s heart rate variability (HRV), beats per minute, blood oxygen, activity levels, and more.

Battery capacity ranges from 12mAh to 16.5mAh depending on sizes, of which there are nine to choose from. It is equipped with a single rechargeable lithium polymer battery that can last from five to seven days and can take less than two hours to fully charge.
The Reebok Smart Ring connects using Bluetooth 5.1 and can store up to seven days of data. In terms of durability, the device is rated to be water-resistant up to 5ATM, and can handle temperatures from -10°C to 52°C while in use.
To ensure a proper fit before users make their purchase, Reebok is offering a ring sizing kit for US$10 (~RM42). The company recommends that buyers should select a ring that provides a snug and secure fit that isn’t uncomfortable. They are then also asked to wear the sizing ring for up to 24 hours to find the best fit. Once confirmed, customers will receive a US$10 coupon toward their Smart Ring order. It’s worth noting that the sizing ring kits are a final sale and cannot be returned.
The Reebok Smart Ring comes in three different colours: Matte Black, Matte Silver, and Shiny Gold. The wearable is currently priced at US$249 (~RM1,052). At the time of writing, the Smart Ring is only available in the US and it is not known whether the wearable will see a global launch, let alone make its way to Malaysia.
