realme is gearing up to launch the GT 8 series in its home market. Ahead of the lineup’s official debut, the brand has been revealing some of the details on the GT 8 Pro through teasers on Weibo. After announcing features like a 2K display and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, the company has confirmed another detail regarding the upcoming flagship phone.

In a recent post on the Chinese social media platform, realme vice president Chase Xu explained that the GT 8 Pro will feature a detachable camera module, allowing the user to customise the design. The teaser includes a choice of three different shapes, namely the typical square and circle, plus a more quirky option that resembles a robot face.

This reveal certainly clears up some of the confusion surrounding the design of the realme GT 8 Pro, as previous leaks contained conflicting information on the camera bump’s appearance. At first, a live image depicting a square module surfaced. Not long after that, the device was seen sporting a circular housing for the rear cameras. And of course, prominent leakster Digital Chat Station shared yet another design for the phone.
