Qualcomm has officially announced the dates for its annual Snapdragon Summit for this year. Speaking during its Computex 2025 keynote today, company president and CEO Cristiano Amon confirmed that this year’s event will take place from 23 to 25 September, once again in Hawaii.

Amon also revealed that Qualcomm will unveil its next Snapdragon X chipset for PCs at the summit, though he stopped short of providing further details. Notably, he made no mention of the company’s upcoming flagship mobile chipset, tentatively referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. However, a reveal during the summit is still widely expected.

According to recent leaks, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is set to deliver up to a 26% performance boost over its predecessor on AnTuTu benchmarks. Additionally, it is said to retain the same 6+2 CPU configuration and feature a new Adreno GPU offering up to 30% faster graphics performance.

Smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 are expected to start launching much later, likely in October 2025. Brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, and others may be among the first to debut devices featuring the new chip.
