OPPO Malaysia previously teased the launch of the Reno14 series, revealing that there will be an F variant alongside the base and Pro models. Now that the launch event is behind us, the company has revealed more about the series, and especially said F variant that was not part of the series’ initial debut in its home market.

With that being said though, let’s start with the base model OPPO Reno14. This has a 6.59-inch 1,256 x 2,760 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Inside, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, and is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W charging. On imaging, it has a 50MP main + 8MP wide-angle + 50MP telephoto combo, and a 50MP front-facing shooter in a punch hole cutout.

The OPPO Reno14 Pro, on the other hand, sees the screen size bumped up to 6.83 inches and 1,272 × 2,800 resolution while keeping its other specs unchanged. The chipset is now a MediaTek Dimensity 8450, while the battery is a 6,200 mAh pack supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. While the triple-camera setup is mostly the same, they are all now 50MP units.

As for what both of these have in common, on the list are the IP69 resistance, support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 as well as NFC. On the software side of things, they get the brand’s ColorOS 15 overlaying Android 15.

With the OPPO Reno14 F though, things swing to the opposite for the most part, with a 6.57-inch screen with a slightly more conventional 2,372 x 1,080 resolution, all other things being equal. Breaking uniformity is the chipset, which is now a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The battery is a familiar 6,000 mAh, but charging has been toned down to 45W. Then there’s the camera setup, which is now a 50MP main + 8MP wide-angle +2MP macro combo at the back, plus a 32MP secondary shooter.

Wireless support is also a tad different with the F model, with support for WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. But for what it’s worth, it does retain the IP69 rating on the outside and the ColorOS 15 and Android 15 on the inside.

The OPPO Reno14 is listed with 12GB of memory, and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage space, with corresponding prices of RM2,199 and RM2,599 respectively. In contrast, the Pro model only has one configuration of 12GB + 512GB, and therefore only one price tag of RM2,999. Coming in with the most choices is the F model, with 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB options, costing RM1,399, RM1,599 and RM1,799 respectively. All of them are available for pre-order until 12 July, as previously announced.
