OPPO Find X9 Ultra May Have Quad-Camera Setup

OPPO Find X8 Ultra

OPPO will apparently be equipping its Find X9 Ultra with a quad-camera setup, similar to the Find X8 Ultra. However, the specifics will differ from its predecessor, as the upcoming phone is said to feature a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto lenses: a 200MP, and a 50MP.

This was taken from known leakster Digital Chat Station, who mentioned the camera setup alongside something that’s referred to as the SM8850. This which is is probably the model number for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The post itself doesn’t mention a device, but Playfuldroid has attributed these to the OPPO Find X9 Ultra.

The report also alleges that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will have a 6.82-inch, flat OLED screen, with 2K Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone may also run on ColorOS 16-based Android 15, which could be unveiled later this year.

While the remaining models in the Find X9 series are expected to be launched in October this year, OPPO may release the Ultra version early next year. As of now, it remains unclear if it will see a release outside of China. To compare, the Find X8 Ultra was launched in China just last month, and no confirmations have been made yet regarding a global release.
