Lenovo Announces 18-Inch Legion 9i Gaming Laptop With Enthusiast-Level Hardware

Lenovo officially announced a new Legion 9i (18″, 10) gaming laptop. The machine was launched at Tech World Shanghai 2025 event and boasts some flagship hardware.
The new Legion 9i comes with an 18-inch 16:10 LCD display with two resolution options: 4K 240Hz with 3ms GTG response time, and another with Lenovo’s own version of a dual resolution panel that switches between 4K 240Hz and FHD+ 440Hz with 3ms GTG response time.
Internally, the new Legion 9i runs on the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 175W discrete GPU, up to 64GB dual-channel DDR5-5200 RAM, and up to 4TB of PCIe 5.0 storage. Powering this desktop replacement is a 99.99Whr battery, along with a 400W power adapter. Ports-wise, the laptop provides a variety of USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a couple of Thunderbolt 5 ports, and an SDCard reader.
Given its size, the new Legion 9i isn’t a light machine, weighing in at 3.5kg, which really screams of the classical scenario of the gamer looking for a powerhouse but isn’t necessarily interested on building a full-on desktop PC.
The Lenovo Legion 9i (18″,10) will be first available in June 2025 for the European market starting from €4,499 (~RM21,715), while the US market will get it sometime in Q4 2025. At the time of writing, Lenovo did not provide local pricing or availability.
