In addition to the Tour One M3 Smart Tx, JBL also launched its newest portable Bluetooth speakers at the City of Sound Roadshow. As the names suggest, the Flip 7 is the latest addition to the brand’s Flip series, while the Charge 6 is the successor to the Charge 5.

To start off, both speakers come with the company’s AI Sound Boost technology, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, as well as Auracast support. In addition to this, the speakers are both rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, and are designed to be drop-proof.

The Flip 7 gets an upgraded tweeter, and has a battery life of 14 hours on a single charge, with an extra two with Playtime Boost enabled, for a total of 16 hours. On the other hand, the Charge 6 is equipped with an enhanced woofer and gets a 24-hour battery life. The Playtime Boost feature adds another four hours for an incredible 28-hour total.

Alongside the portable speakers, JBL also showcased the JBL Junior headphones, which are designed for children aged between three and eight years, and feature a durable design as well as a volume limit of 85dB. There are two variants, which are the wireless JBL Junior 320BT which offers up to to 50 hours of playback, and the wired Junior 320.

The Flip 7 can be purchased for RM799 with colour options of black, blue, white, red, squad, pink, purple, sand, and funky black. The Charge 6 comes in similar colours and retails for RM999. As for the Junior lineup, the 320BT and 320 are priced at RM249 and RM 129 respectively. All the products are available on the brand’s online store.
