Huawei Watch Fit 4 Series, Watch 5 Land In Malaysia; Priced From RM599

Huawei has officially launched its new lineup of wearables in Malaysia, which includes the Watch Fit 4 series as well as the Watch 5. The Watch Fit 4 series comprises the Watch Fit 4 and the Watch Fit 4 Pro, while the Watch 5 comes in 46mm and 42mm sizes.
To start off, the Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro both come with a 1.82-inch 480×408 AMOLED display, although the Pro variant has a higher peak brightness of 3,000 nits compared to the 2,000 nits for the vanilla version. Both watches feature an aluminium alloy case, but the Pro model gets a titanium bezel with a sapphire crystal glass screen.
As for durability, the wearables come with IP6x and 5ATM ratings, with the Pro model suited for diving up to 40 metres. Both variants also promise a typical battery life of seven days, with a maximum of ten days in battery saving mode. With Always On Display enabled, the watches last four days.
Both versions of the smartwatch come with a barometer, dual-satellite GPS navigation, as well as health tracking features like heart rate variability monitoring and an emotional wellbeing assistant. The Pro version comes with Huawei’s TruSense System and a built-in ECG functionality for more detailed health insights. Huawei is also introducing more sports modes, including water sports route tracking. The Watch Fit 4 Pro also includes a dedicated free-diving mode, in addition to modes for golfing and trail running.

Meanwhile, the 46mm variant of the Huawei Watch 5 features a 1.5-inch 466×466 LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The 42mm variant sports a similar display, but at a slightly smaller 1.38 inches. The watch case is made of stainless steel for most versions of the watch, but the 46mm variants have titanium as an option. The 46mm version offers 4.5 days of typical battery life, with a maximum of 11 days, while the 42mm one offers three to seven days of battery life.
One notable feature of the Watch 5 is the Multi-sensing X-TAP Technology, which integrates ECG, PPG, and tactile sensors into a side-mounted module for faster and more accurate health readings. The watch relies on the wearer’s fingertip to measure health metrics such as heart rate variability, emotional wellbeing, and blood oxygen saturation. The X-TAP module also supports gesture controls such as double tap and double slide to allow the wearer to perform tasks like handle calls and operate their smartphone camera.
All of Huawei’s new wearables are available for pre-order at the brand’s physical stores, official website, as well as its shops on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. The Watch Fit 4 is priced at RM599 for the Black, White, and Purple versions, while the Grey variant is available for RM699. Meanwhile, the Watch Fit 4 Pro is priced at RM999. As for the Watch 5, the 46mm version costs RM1,799 for the Black version, with the Purple and Silver variants priced at RM1,999 and RM2,699 respectively.
