Huawei Launching Nova 14 Series On 19 May, Some Specs Leak

Huawei nova 14 series launch China teaser

Huawei has just revealed via Weibo that it will be releasing its Nova 14 phone series. While the official lineup is currently unclear, the posts indicate that there will be at least an Ultra model. The phones are stated to receive a launch in China on 19 May at 2:30pm, according to a machine translation of the posts.

Based on the images posted by Huawei, the Nova 14 Ultra will come in four colours: Gold, Purple, White, and Black, as well as feature a quad-camera setup at the back. This may consist of a telephoto sensor and a 12MP zoom sensor, as reported by GSMArena, which also claims that there will be a base and Pro model to accompany the Ultra.

Additionally, Huawei also posted a teaser video of what is apparently an upcoming Matebook Pro laptop. The device is set to receive a simultaneous release alongside the Nova 14 series. As of now, it remains unclear as to whether the products will be launched outside of China.

The Huawei Nova 13 series, which was revealed late last year, consists of the vanilla and Pro model, with the 13i joining a little while later. Both the base and Pro phones run on a Kirin 8000 chipset, come with HarmonyOS 4.2, and have an under-display fingerprint scanner. The 13i houses a 6.7-inch screen, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 108MP camera.
