HONOR Shows Off Magic V Flip2 Design Ahead Of China Launch

HONOR is preparing to release its latest clamshell foldable, the Magic V Flip2. The brand has confirmed that the successor to the Magic V Flip will make its debut in China on 21 August 2025. In addition to announcing the launch date, the company has revealed the design of the smartphone.
The Magic V Flip2 looks like its predecessor, but it does feature one notable change. Where the original Magic V Flip sports two cameras of different sizes, the new generation comes with two sensors of the same size, not unlike a few other recently released foldables.
As for colour, the Weibo post showcases the device in a lavender shade with wispy wavy patterns resembling clouds. Aside from this pale purple model, the brand also shared a special variant designed by fashion designer Datuk Jimmy Choo. This version features a shimmery, sparkly blue back panel that brings a starry sky to mind.
For the time being, HONOR has not divulged the device’s specifications. However, previous rumours have suggested that the phone will feature a 6.8-inch inner display and a 4-inch cover screen. Aside from that, it will reportedly feature a 5,500mAh battery with either 66W or 80W wired charging.
Of course, we will only have full confirmation of the phone’s specs once it is officially launched. That said, given that HONOR did not release last year’s model outside of China, we might not be able to get our hands on this one either.
