Local telcos CelcomDigi, Maxis, and U Mobile have officially opened pre-orders for the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Z series. Making their debut yesterday evening, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are headlined by the former, which Samsung touts as its slimmest and most powerful foldable yet.

Before diving into the deals, it’s worth noting that only U Mobile is offering both 256GB and 512GB options for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, while CelcomDigi and Maxis only carry the 512GB variant. Also, all listed prices refer solely to the devices and exclude monthly plan charges.

CelcomDigi customers can pre-order either device with a Postpaid 5G 100 or higher plan, with monthly instalments starting from RM160 for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and RM93 for the Galaxy Z Flip7. The telco offers flexible instalment options of up to 36 months, all at 0% interest and with RM0 upfront payment.

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold7 with Easy360 on the Postpaid 5G 160 plan will also receive a Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Meanwhile, those who opt for the Galaxy Z Flip7 on Postpaid 5G 120 or 140 plans will get the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. A free two-month PhoneCARE package is included with every purchase.

As for Maxis, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is available from RM185/month and the Galaxy Z Flip7 from RM100/month via its Zerolution instalment programme. Pre-order customers will also receive a complimentary two-year Maxis Device Care Plus protection plan and a free double storage upgrade.

The Zerolution contracts span 24 or 36 months and are available with plans such as 50GB Postpaid Share 48, Unlimited Postpaid 109, 139, 169, and 199. Alternatively, customers can go for a standard 24-month contract and purchase the phones at a discounted price, starting from RM6,099 for the Fold7 and RM3,499 for the Flip7.

Lastly, U Mobile is offering the Galaxy Z Fold7 from RM266/month for the 256GB version and RM291/month for the 512GB via its 24-month U PayLater contracts, available with U Family 128 and U Postpaid 98 plans. The Galaxy Z Flip7 starts from RM149/month for the 256GB or RM175/month for the 512GB under the same plan.

Alternatively, customers can opt for a direct purchase through U Mobile’s 24-month U SaveMore contract, using the same plans. Under this scheme, the Galaxy Z Fold7 starts from RM5,757 (256GB) or RM6,307 (512GB), while the Galaxy Z Flip7 starts from RM3,237 (256GB) or RM3,777 (512GB).

U Mobile is also offering a special, limited time promotion which lets you pre-order both Galaxy Z series for the price of one. This will require a 36-month U Paylater contract commitment that’s paired with the telco’s U Family 128 plan, and a monthly payment of RM233/month. However, the telco notes that units are limited, so act quickly if you’re keen to take advantage of the deal.
