Corsair has announced the Voxara, its first premium USB microphone for both gaming and content creation. The new device combines the company’s own hardware with software from Elgato which, as you may recall, was acquired by Corsair back in 2018.
The Voxara is promised to offer studio-grade vocals with deep customisation and seamless integration with both Corsair and Elgato ecosystems. It features a large 25mm condenser capsule, which supports 32-bit audio recording and a 192kHz sample rate.
The microphone uses a cardioid pickup pattern to prioritise audio from directly in front of it while reducing sounds from the sides and rear. It also comes with an integrated shock mount and built-in pop filter, which are designed to reduce desk vibrations, handling noise and plosives during recordings or voice chats.

Audio Controls And Software
On the software side, the Voxara integrates with Elgato’s Wave Link 3.0, allowing users to manage the microphone, game audio, music and chat through independent channels. Users can also apply EQ presets, custom audio effects and third-party VST and AU plugins through the software, including those available from the Elgato Marketplace.
Wave Link also includes Voice Focus for the Voxara, with the feature powered by ai|coustics. It is designed to remove background noise, room echo and reverb while isolating and enhancing the user’s voice inreal time, without requiring an additional download.
For physical controls, the microphone has an integrated OLED display that shows information such as headset volume, mic gain, audio balance and mute status. A multi-function scroll wheel lets users adjust these settings, while a tap-to-mute sensor provides a quick way to mute the microphone with visual feedback.

Design And Compatibility
The Voxara also features customisable RGB lighting, with options including multi-colour effects, static colours and a dynamic level meter that responds to microphone input. The lighting can be configured through Wave Link or synchronised with compatible Corsair devices using iCUE Murals via the iCUE Apps (Beta).
For mounting, the microphone comes with a detachable aluminium stand for desktop use, along with adapters for attaching it to standard boom arms. It connects through USB-C using the included braided cable and supports plug-and-play operation on Windows and macOS. Besides PCs, the Voxara supports audio input on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Pricing And Availability
In the US, the Voxara is priced at US$200 (~RM816) and is available in Black and White colour options. For now, Corsair has yet to announce whether the microphone will be officially available in Malaysia.
