We’ve seen a lot of concept phones over the past few years, but the most realistic phone that may hit the market is TECNO’s bezelless concept phone. And as the company previously promised, the experimental handset officially made its first appearance at IFA 2026.
TECNO Next-Gen Borderless Concept Phone
To jog your memory, TECNO’s device is called the “Next-Gen Borderless Concept Phone”. And as the name suggests, it features, what the company calls, a true 0mm screen bezel and offers a genuine edge-to-edge viewing experience.
Traditional phones, advanced as they may be, still feature some amount of bezels. The brand says that it’s able to achieve this revolutionary change by adopting new display architecture made with advanced internals staking, structural re-engineering, and new screen-packaging techniques.
Unfortunately, much like before, TECNO did not mention the specifications of the device at the time of writing. Furthermore, even with a YouTube video that featured the device, we still do not know what the phone’s rear looks like.
New POVA 8 Pro And CAMON Slim
That said, that isn’t the only device TECNO showed off. During the event, the brand revealed a redesigned version of the recently unveiled POVA 8 Pro, this time with a Tonino Lamborghini coat of paint. It still has the same MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform and P1 Graphic Chip that the standard models have. Unlike its bezelless cousin, this phone is available in Malaysia for RM1,399, according to the official press release.
It is also worth mentioning that the brand also unveiled the CAMON Slim 5G. However, the company didn’t say much save for the fact that it has a 6.39mm body. Per the document, more details about the device will be announced on 7 September.
MEGABOOK T15 360 Series
The last device isn’t a smartphone but two laptop tablets that are a part of TECNO’s MEGABOOK T15 360 series. The series consists of the MEGABOOK T15 360 and MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro, and they both feature a 15.6-inch touchscreen and a 360-degree hinge, which is a company first.
Specs-wise, the standard model comes with a Full HD 60Hz display, while the Pro has a 2.5k 120Hz screen with 100% sRGB colour coverage. The press release states that the two devices can come with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor. Both models also come with a 70Wh battery and a 65W PD GaN charger.
The company notes the MEGABOOK T15 360 series will launch in Europe sometime in Q4 of 2026. Depending on the configuration, the standard model will retail between EUR899 (~RM4,226) and EUR999 (~RM4,696), while the Pro variant is priced at EUR1,099 (~RM5,166)
