Spigen Teases Case For The Foldable iPhone Ultra

Spigen foldable Apple Ultra case teaser

South Korean mobile accessory maker Spigen is no stranger to making iPhone cases. So it probably won’t be too surprising if the brand eventually announces a case for the foldable iPhone Ultra that’s expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models. More recently, the company has basically confirmed that such plans are already in motion, with a teaser for exactly that being posted via its official X account.

The image in question involves a vaguely foldable-looking phone with a clear case over it, and a bitten apple on top. To be clear though, neither the phone nor the case looks much like anything that exists right now. The perforated holes for the speaker grille indicate that it’s not a Samsung. Furthermore, the large size of these holes lines up with those of other makers such as Honor as well as Apple’s, at least according to leaked renders, but the distance between them and the hinge, not so much.

But none of these really matter as much as the bitten apple on top of the device. That’s essentially the logo of the iPhone maker, and unless Spigen is getting in on the social media trolling bandwagon, there’s really nothing else for the brand to reference in this image beyond a foldable iPhone. Of course, being a teaser, the only text on the post is β€œhello”, keeping the whole thing sufficiently vague otherwise.

As mentioned earlier, the foldable iPhone Ultra is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in less than a week. At the same time, the device is claimed to be exclusive to the US, at least at first. Some other major markets like China are rumoured to be getting it much later, while others, like Australia may be left out of the initial rollout. Things are even more uncertain for the Malaysian market, it goes without saying.
