Last week, realme teased the launch of the C100x. The brand detailed just about everything you need to know about it, save for its asking price. At the time, the company said the phone would start becoming available on 28 August. As promised, you can now get one for yourself, and with that, we also know what it costs. And because thereβs only one configuration, thereβs only one price tag. You do have two colour options, for what itβs worth.
In case you missed it though, the realme C100x has a 6.8-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD screen with 900 nits of peak brightness. This also comes with what the brand calls its Wet Hand Touch 2.0 tech which, as the name suggests, lets it be used with wet or oily hands. Inside, it packs a Unisoc T7250 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 6W reverse charging. It’s probably also worth mentioning that the company has a seven-year promise that said battery will remain in good health.
Despite the way it looks, realme has only disclosed details of one of the cameras at the back of the C100x, which is the 50MP unit. In front, it has a 5MP secondary snapper. On the software side of things, it runs Android 16 with the companyβs own realme UI. The entire package is wrapped up with an IP64 rating, as well as the MIL-STD 810H rating.
According to the brandβs announcement on its own Facebook page, the realme C100x costs RM999. As mentioned, there are two colours, which are Golden Coast and Deepblue Tides. You can get the phone via authorised retailers, as well as the official store on e-commerce platforms Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. For whatever reason though, these list the phone as being RM100 more expensive than the announced RM999 price.
