Ahead of its annual Made By Google event, Google has officially lifted the veil from the Pixel 11 family. Much like last year’s lineup, this generation comprises a book-style foldable, two Pro variants, and a vanilla model. As usual, the regular Pixel 11 misses out on some of the more interesting features that come with its fancier siblings. Still, the phone does offer a few upgrades compared to its predecessor.
The device sports a 6.3-inch Actua display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This OLED panel offers a 1,080 x 2,424 pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Other than that, the screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The phone itself sports an aluminium frame with a fingerprint-resistant coating. Rounding things off is an IP68 rating.
Under the hood, the handset packs the all-new Tensor G6 chipset, which according to the company comes with a 50% more powerful TPU. This is paired with the Titan M3 security chip. Furthermore, the device is equipped with 12GB of RAM and your choice of either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 4,985mAh battery, which can supposedly power the phone for more than 30 hours. This cell also supports 30W wired and 25W wireless charging.
On the connectivity end, the device supports 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 6, and NFC. As for software, the smartphone runs on Android 17 right out of the box, which naturally includes the new Gemini Intelligence. Essentially, the AI-powered feature turns Gemini into a proactive assistant that anticipates the user’s needs. Another new tool is Magic Capture, which takes photos and videos, then automatically edits and curates a shareable collection.
Speaking of imaging, the Pixel 11 comes with some tweaks to its camera system. The arrangement comprises a 48MP primary shooter with a larger 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/1.70 aperture. This gets paired with a 13MP 1/3.1-inch ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree FOV. Completing the system is a 10.8MP 1/3.2-inch telephoto lens with an f/3.1 aperture and 5x optical zoom. The Super Zoom feature also goes up to 30x now. Flipping the handset around, you get a 10.5MP selfie snapper.
The Google Pixel 11 comes in four finishes, namely Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian. The device is currently available for pre-order, with general sales beginning on 20 August 2026. In Malaysia, it gets a starting price of RM3,999, which is the same as last year. That said, you do get more storage, considering the fact that the Pixel 10 launched with 128GB of storage at minimum.
