Zeekr Malaysia has introduced expanded ownership benefits for its customers, including an extended warranty programme and complimentary electric vehicle health inspections across its authorised service centres nationwide. The initiatives come as the automaker marks 5,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries in the country, though it positions the new benefits primarily as measures to provide greater long-term ownership support for its growing customer base.
Additionally, Zeekr announced the expansion of its charging ecosystem with the introduction of Zeekr Power, aimed at improving access to fast charging for its owners. The initiative will be progressively rolled out nationwide.
Extended Warranty Now Covers Up To Eight Years
The new Extended Warranty Programme expands protection for both the vehicle and its high-voltage components to up to eight years, with customers able to choose between two coverage plans. The Silver Plan extends coverage to eight years or 160,000km, whichever comes first, while the Gold Plan provides the same eight-year coverage but raises the mileage limit to 180,000km.
New owners can purchase the programme within seven days of taking delivery of their vehicle. Zeekr Malaysia is also extending the programme to existing owners, who can purchase the additional coverage until September 30, 2026.
Repairs covered under the programme will be carried out at authorised Zeekr Service Centres using genuine parts by trained service personnel. According to the company, the extended coverage is intended to help reduce unexpected repair costs while providing greater confidence for longer-term ownership.
Free EV Inspections Available Until September
Zeekr is also offering all owners a complimentary electric vehicle health inspection at its authorised service centres nationwide. The inspection covers key systems and components, including the power battery system, electric powertrain, BCM system, undercarriage and low-voltage battery.
The complimentary inspection programme is available until 30 September 2026. Owners are encouraged to make an appointment in advance through their preferred Zeekr service centre or call centre to minimise waiting times.
Zeekr Power To Expand Fast-Charging Access
As mentioned earlier, the automaker has also introduced Zeekr Power, a dedicated charging ecosystem aimed at expanding access to high-speed DC charging for its customers. The company plans to establish 30 Zeekr Power charging stations nationwide over the next three years.
Zeekr reveals that it has partnered with DC Handal to deploy chargers along key travel corridors on the North-South Expressway. According to the company, the chargers can deliver up to 400kW, with selected units potentially supporting up to 640kW in the future, depending on available capacity.

Owners will also receive an exclusive charging rate of RM1.20/kWh at participating Zeekr Power Γ DC Handal locations. The initial locations are:
- Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kedah
- Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang
- MH Hotel, Ipoh, Perak
- Sunway Pyramid Mall, Petaling Jaya
- PLUS Plaza Toll Sungkai, Perak (under construction, targeted for Q4 completion)
- PLUS Plaza Toll Bukit Gambir, Johor (under construction, targeted for Q4 completion)
