Tesla Model 3 Highland Updated In Malaysia With More Range And New Features

Tesla Model 3 Highland facelift has been updated for the Malaysian market. The update includes a range increase to WLTP 520km from 513km for the base Rear-Wheel Drive variant. Also, the EV has been fitted with the 62.5kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery from CATL offered in the Tesla Model Y RWD.
According to CarExpert, these changes were introduced back in May 2025. However, there is no confirmed timeline for when they were implemented in the Malaysian market.

The Tesla Model 3 now features a revised colour palette, with Stealth Grey replacing Pearl White Multi-Coat as the standard finish. Notably, Stealth Grey was previously a RM7,500 option—more expensive than Pearl White Multi-Coat, which is now available as a RM5,000 upgrade.
Other exterior colour options include Deep Blue Metallic (RM5,000), while Quicksilver and Ultra Red are priced at RM11,000 each. The former Solid Black option (RM5,000) has been replaced by Diamond Black, which remains at the same price point.

The options list still includes 19-inch Nova wheels for both the RWD and Long Range AWD variants. Inside, customers can choose a black and white interior for RM5,000, as an alternative to the standard all-black trim. As for driver assistance packages, Enhanced Autopilot remains available for RM16,000, while Full Self-Driving Capability continues to be offered at RM32,000—both unchanged from previous pricing.
With all of these updates, the Tesla Model 3 Highland still retains the same starting price of RM181,000 for the RWD variant. Meanwhile, the Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant and Performance AWD variant are priced at RM210,000 and RM242,000 respectively.
