Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE Now Official; Starts From RM3,999

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE has officially been announced, alongside with the Z Flip7 and Fold7. As an “FE” device, the clamshell flip phone is a tier below the standard model, but surprisingly not by much.

Specs-wise, the Flip7 FE features a smaller 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen, as well as a slightly smaller 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display. That said, it does have an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Overall, the Flip7 FE weighs in at 187g. When folded, it has a thickness of 14.9mm, and unfolded, that reduces further to 6.9mm. Internally, the phone is powered by Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 2400 SoC, 8GB RAM, and a choice between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage capacity. Keeping it running throughout the day is a 4,000mAh dual battery system, while wired charging is rated at 23W, and wireless charging uses Samsung’s Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 technology.

On the software side of things, the Flip7 FE runs on Android 16 out of the box, complemented by Samsung’s own One UI 8.

For its main camera, Flip7 FE sports a dual-camera main array, comprising a 50MP wide and a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the selfie camera still remains the same at 10MP. Oh, and the phone also has a water and dust resistant rating of IP48.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is already available for preorder in Malaysia, starting today until 31 July. General availability of the phone is expected to start from 1 August onwards. The phone will be available in two colour options: Black and white. Pricing starts from RM3,999 for the 128GB SKU, while the 256GB model retails for RM4,299.
