Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 Launches In China

Xiaomi has introduced a new entry to its Pad 7 series with the all new Pad 7S Pro 12.5. It is the first tablet to use the company’s own Xring O1 chipset, which was previously featured on the China-only Xiaomi 15S Pro model from May.
For starters, the 7S tablet has a larger 12.5-inch IPS LCD display with 2136 x 3200 pixels The new tablet sports a larger 12.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2136 x 3200 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also brings an audio upgrade, now offering six speakers with Dolby Atmos support. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
At just 5.8mm thick and weighing 576g, the Pad 7S Pro is relatively slim and light. Xiaomi is positioning it as both a productivity device and a potential laptop replacement, thanks to an optional keyboard accessory. The keyboard attaches magnetically and features a fully adjustable hinge for added flexibility.
The tablet offers a range of connectivity features, including low-latency (41ms) wireless screen mirroring to PCs, keyboard and mouse sharing, and seamless file transfers. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS systems.
Under the hood, the device packs a 10,610mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging via USB-C. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4, though NFC is not supported.

In terms of imaging, the Pad 7S Pro is equipped with a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15.

The tablet is now available in China starting at CNY3,299 (~RM1,945) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with configurations going up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Meanwhile, the optional keyboard accessory is priced at CNY999 (~RM589). A global release has not been confirmed at this time.
