Garmin has introduced its new high-end smartwatch, the Venu X1. It is touted to feature the largest display ever from the brand’s Venu series, while maintaining an “ultrathin” form factor.

Design-wise, the new Garmin Venu X1 sports rounded square design that’s reminiscent of Apple’s smartwatches. Its screen features a 2-inch AMOLED panel that’s protected by a durable sapphire lens. Its case, which comes in at only 8mm thick, is made of lightweight titanium. Additionally, the wearable comes with a 24mm ComfortFit nylon band, and is offered in two colourways: Black and Moss.

The smartwatch comes with a built-in speaker and microphone for making and receiving calls when paired with a compatible smartphone, along with support for voice commands for actions like starting a workout or setting a timer. There’s also a built-in LED flashlight with four brightness levels.

Venu X1 sets itself apart from previous models by including full-colour mapping and over 100 built-in activity profiles. Health tracking tools include real-time heart rate monitoring, pulse oximetry, altitude data, and training readiness metrics. However, it lacks some high-end features found in Garmin’s Fenix or Forerunner lines, such as ECG support or multi-band GPS.

As for battery life, Garmin says the watch is capable of lasting up to eight days in smartwatch mode. Enabling its Always-On display, on the other hand, will reduce usage time down to two days.

The Garmin Venu X1 is slated to launch in the US and other markets on 18 June 2025, priced at US$800 (~RM3,397). There’s no word regarding a Malaysian release at this time.
