Samsung is reportedly working on its Watch8 series, which is rumoured to be launching alongside the company’s upcoming foldable phones. Now, XpertPick has reported that two of the models, the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic have received a 3C certification (China Compulsory Certification).

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic are listed under model numbers SM-L3350 and SM-L5050 respectively. As per the certification listing, the models are stated to support LTE connectivity and 10W charging, which is similar to the Galaxy Watch7. They may also come with an EP-T1510 travel adaptor.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 LTE was also spotted on the US FCC certification (Federal Communications Commission) platform. This listing reveals that the watches support 10W wired charging, wireless charging, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/a, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and NFC. The Galaxy Watch8 Classic variant may also share these specs, according to XpertPick.

As Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 last year, there is a chance the Watch8 series could be launched simultaneously with the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 phones. Should this be accurate, this means that the wearables are about two months away.
